Sébastien Pocognoli can count on several returnees for AS Monaco’s match against Stade Rennais on Saturday.
Pocognoli has been working with a diminished squad since taking over as manager at the start of October. Lamine Camara and Vanderson, notably, have not been available for selection at all, but in Friday’s press conference attended by Get French Football News, Pocognoli confirmed that the pair are available for selection against Rennes tomorrow.
With Denis Zakaria also building up his fitness over the course of the international break, Monaco’s midfield is now back to full strength for the first time since September. Krépin Diatta is also back, but after suffering a facial fracture earlier this month, he will have to wear a mask, Pocognoli confirmed.
There are just two absentees: Christian Mawissa and Eric Dier. The latter, GFFN understands, has suffered a calf injury and so will take no part against Les Rennais.
