French forward Alexandre Lacazette is set to join Saudi Pro League (SPL) club Neom on a two-year contract (L’Équipe).
Lacazette has reportedly reached an agreement with Neom, who were recently promoted to the SPL.
The 33-year-old has already completed his medical tests with the club and is expected to be unveiled soon.
Neom have been active in the market this summer. They want to avoid relegation at all costs and think Lacazette can help them achieve their goals.
They are also eyeing a move for Leon Bailey to bolster their attacking options this summer.
Lyon exit ends another impressive spell for Lacazette

Lacazette returned to Lyon in 2022 after spending five years with Arsenal in the Premier League.
He has been a key figure at the club, wearing the captain’s armband and leading the line.
He scored 43 Ligue 1 goals in two seasons, finishing as Lyon’s top scorer both times.
Although Lyon had difficult campaigns, Lacazette remained consistent throughout.
His performances helped steady the team in tough moments, and he was often the difference in tight games.
He leaves Lyon having made 326 appearances for the club across two separate spells. He scored 184 goals, putting him among the club’s most prolific scorers of all time.
The deal with Neom is expected to be confirmed soon, with all paperwork already in place.
