According to Fabrizio Romano, Jonathan David (25) has agreed to join Juventus on a free transfer. The former Lille forward is now a free agent after the expiry of his contract at the Stade Pierre Mauroy on the 30th June.
David has reached a verbal agreement on every detail with the Serie A club and is set to sign a long-term deal with the Bianconeri. Following the verbal agreement, the Canadian international will fly to Turin to complete his medical tests and sign his contract with his new club.
Juve win the race
David’s future has long been unknown with his contract at Les Dogues running down. The forward has been linked with a move to the Premier League, but its clubs in Italy that have shown the most concrete interest. Napoli were also interested in signing the striker, yet Juventus have won the race for his signature.
