As reported by Mundo Deportivo, the Portuguese forward was at the Palau Blaugrana to watch Barça’s handball match against Magdeburg in the second round of the EHF Champions League. The Barça handball team also has a Portuguese player, Luis Frade. The Atlético Madrid loanee was accompanied in the stands by his father, Carlos Sequeira, and his friend Thiago.
“I gave up a huge amount of money to join Barça… but I needed to feel happy. I tried at Chelsea and now I’m at Barça,” he told MD.
“Permanent deal in 2024? It depends on this season. Barça could negotiate with Atléti… let’s see if they will make it easy… I will do my best.”
