Serhou Guirassy VfB Stuttgart

The reported transfer of Stade Rennes striker Serhou Guirassy to VfB Stuttgart has turned out to be a season-long-loan deal. The Swabian’s unveiled their new attacker on Tuesday evening, not explicitly mentioning whether or not they secured a purchase option on the transaction. The former 1. FC Köln forward returns to the Bundesliga after a three-year-absence.
“It’s great to be back in the Bundesliga,” the 26-year-old noted at his introduction, “I’ve heard only great things about Stuttgart and recall the great atmosphere from my time in Köln. I’m looking forward to getting to know my new teammates and hope that I can contribute to our season with some goals.”

Guirassy has increased his estimated market worth by a factor of five since leaving the Bundesrepublik. The former French international, who since his German football days now represents Guinea, has scored 25 goals across all competitions for Stade Rennes over the last two seasons.
