Inter’s meeting with the lawyer of Romelu Lukaku has now ended and it lasted about an hour.
FCInter1908 have provided details about the meeting which took place in Milan earlier today during the morning hours. It lasted an hour and it involved Belgian lawyer Sebastien Ledure, who represented the Chelsea striker and Beppe Marotta, who was representing Inter.
Inter have confirmed to Ledure that they are looking for openings to sign the striker once again and they are only looking for an opening from Chelsea’s to make a deal possible. But it is an opening that has to be guaranteed and brought about by the player himself by talking to the London-based club.
Lukaku has to now convince Chelsea to let him leave this summer, with further meetings between Inter and Lukaku’s entourage planned for the future. Inter’s interest has been described as ‘concrete’, with the player willing to take a wage cut as well.
