Inter to potentially offload up to six players in summer market ahead of next season

After quite an unsuccessful transfer market this season for the Nerazzurri, Inter are on the verge of potentially offloading up to six players within their rebuild ahead of next season.

FcInter1908 indicates that the Milanese club is looking to prioritize three positions in the summer market in preparation for the 2025/26 campaign: A striker, A center-back, and a wing-back.

Hence, Pasquale Guarro of Calciomercato reports that the Nerazzurri are prepared to make a handful of sales in order to gain financial liquidity that will serve as a major aid in enhancing the depth and quality of the squad.

As it stands, forwards Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic are pretty much confirmed to part-ways with the Nerazzurri in the summer as free agents with both of their contracts set to expire in June, following their ill-fated spells with under Inzaghi.

In addition, the Nerazzurri could potentially offload former Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi with the Italian international seeking more playing time and evidently not a profile that is quite tailored to Inzaghi’s philosophy of play.

Given that Dinamo Zagreb’s rising star Petar Sucic is set to join Inter next summer, the arrival of the Croatian youngster could tip Kristjan Asllani towards the exit door as the former Empoli midfielder has struggled heavily to find consistency and adapt at Inter during his two years in Milan thus far.

Furthermore, Inter could cut their ties with Iranian international Mehdi Taremi, albeit there are still two years remaining on his contract, as the former Porto forward has failed to cement himself as a prolific goal-scorer within the squad since arriving in the summer as a free agent.

The Nerazzurri are evaluating to part-ways with the veteran given that he is under a €3m per-season contract, even though the 32-year-old is desperate to remain at Inter beyond this season.

Finally, the Biscione could transfer list Tomas Palacios at the end of the season, as he failed to find minutes under Inzaghi and finding it difficult to receive regular minutes under coach Alessandro Nesta whilst being sent to Monza on six-month loan spell.
