Inter set to seal Lens central midfielder Andy Diouf

Inter remain extremely active within the summer market with two days remaining until the start of the 2025/26 Serie A campaign, as the Nerazzurri are prepared to finalize the transfer of Lens holding midfielder Andy Diouf.

Milanese journal La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 21 year-old French international is set to sign a five-year deal worth €2m per-season with the Beneamata that will run until 2030.

Inter have reached an agreement with the French outfits for a fixed transfer fee of €20m plus an additional €5m in bonuses, and the rising star is now set to arrive in Milan tomorrow to complete his medicals.

Diouf was well within the radar of Napoli as potential acquisition to complete the department at the middle of the park for the Partenopei, but Inter managed to win the race in obtaining the services of 2003-born midfielder.

Inter were intrigued by the Lens midfielder following the collapse of negotiations for Roma star Manu Kone due to Diouf’s capability of playing as a box-to-box midfielder, as well as an attacking midfielder higher up the pitch at such a young age.
