Serie A side Inter learn the extent of star man Marcus Thuram’s injury.
According to an official statement by Inter Milan via Gianluca Di Marzio, the club is set to be without the services of Thuram for the next couple of days as he has suffered a strain in the biceps femoris of his left leg.
The Frenchman came off in the 67th minute of the Nerazzurri’s Champions League match against Slavia Praha, and underwent medical examinations this afternoon to understand the injury sustained.
Thuram will certainly miss Inter’s upcoming Serie A clash versus Cremonese, and his condition will be further assessed next week before the Roma encounter. However, he is set to be a major doubt for several weeks as Inter’s management do not want to rush him into action.
The 28-year-old has been one of Inter’s best players this season, scoring three goals in five league matches and two across their same number of Champions League fixtures.
