How Roma plan to sign Davide Frattesi from Inter

Serie A giants Roma were constantly linked with a move for Inter’s Davide Frattesi in the winter transfer window. Even if the move didn’t go through, the Giallorossi remain keen on the midfielder.

Daniele Longo has reported that Roma want to win the Europa League this season and they believe that through it, they will get enough finances to sign the Italy international permanently. If they win the competition, they could earn over 60m and that would come as a big boost for them.

In January, Inter wanted a fee of €35 million to sell Frattesi and the price tag was at that amount because Simone Inzaghi viewed him as an important player, even if the midfielder was keen on the return to the Olimpico. Roma will try again in the summer and the belief is that if they offer €35 million at that point, it would be enough to sign the ex-Giallorossi player.
