20-year-old central defender Eduardo Quaresma has joined Hoffenheim on loan from Sporting CP. The player’s season-long loan deal includes an option to buy.
Commenting on the signing of Quaresma, who spent last season on loan at C.D. Tondela, Hoffenheim director of professional football Alexander Rosen said:
“Eduardo is as young as he is talented and has already played a full season in the Portuguese first division at a high level.
With his speed, good defensive behavior and footballing skills, he has extremely promising assets to put pressure on the established forces as a challenger,” said TSG director of professional football Alexander Rosen.
