Hertha BSC have confirmed the signing of Croatian midfielder Ivan Sunjic from Birmingham City.
The 25-year-old makes the switch to Berlin on loan with an option to buy.
“I’ve watched Ivan Šunjić for a number of years. I’m delighted that we’ve now been able to bring him to Hertha BSC,” said Hertha boss Fredi Bobic.
“He’s an aggressive ball-winning defensive midfielder and his mentality and qualities will fit perfectly with the football we want to play.”
