One inclusion in Barcelona’s starting line-up to face Stade Brestois on Tuesday has given rise to widespread unrest amongst the club’s supporters.
This comes amid confirmation that Gerard Martín will be in from the off once more this evening.
With Alejandro Balde still unavailable owing to a niggling hamstring problem, the subject of Hansi Flick’s left-back plans had dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 72 hours.
As much comes after Martín was hooked from proceedings at half-time in Barca’s weekend meeting with Celta Vigo, after being hugely lucky to escape a red card amid an underwhelming display.
Héctor Fort was introduced in his place, with the youngster having gone on to enjoy an altogether more impressive 45 minutes.
Calls had spread over the days since for the latter, in turn, to be afforded a starting place ahead of Martín in the Blaugrana’s Champions League showdown with Brest.
As alluded to above, however, in the end, Flick has opted for Martín once more, with Barca’s XI for this evening showcased in full below:
