Germany and Sweden secure their place in the knockout stage before going head-to-head in Saturday’s final group fixture.
Sweden’s 3-0 win over Poland confirmed the two teams qualified from Group C in the Women’s Euro. Sweden and Germany will clash in Zurich on Saturday to decide the group winner.
The two teams joined Norway and Spain, who secured their places in the last two days. The second matchday of Group D will be played tomorrow as the “Group of Death” lived up to its billing with France’s stunning win over holders England.
Because of their superior goal difference compared to Germany, Sweden will only need a draw on Saturday to top the group.
