In a rather surprising move, RB Leipzig are reportedly ready to let highly-rated German U17 international Sidney Raebiger join Greuther Fürth on a permanent basis.

Half a year after becoming the youngest player ever to feature in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig, Sidney Raebiger is apparently set to leave the club.

According to Bild, the the German U17 international is on the verge of a permanent transfer to Greuther Fürth.

Per the report, Leipzig have negotiated a significant sell-on clause as part of the deal, with Raebiger expected to sign a deal until at least 2025.

Despite being highly rated by RB Leipzig coach Domenico Tedesco, Raebiger would probably have little chance of regular playing time in the upcoming season, particularly following the club’s recent signing of Xaver Schlager from Wolfsburg.
