Nikola Milenkovic‘s current contract at Fiorentina has entered the last 12 months of its existence. But even now, suitors are not ready to push for his signature.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Firenzeviola.it), Fiorentina have not received any bid for Nikola Milenkovic amid the summer transfer window.
However, various reports have already confirmed that there are multiple clubs interested in the Serbian defender. Signed from Partizan in 2017, the 24-year-old signed a contract extension with La Viola last year.
Even though the Florence-based club is willing to let the player leave this summer, it is the lack of concert interest in the player that could see Milenkovic starting his 2022/23 season with Vincenzo Italiano.
The relationship between the player and the management of Fiorentina is excellent, and the same goes for Fali Ramadani, the player’s agent.
The report suggests that there is a general feeling around the club that the centre-back will not force a move this summer, leading them to avoid a soap opera.
Juventus, Napoli, and Inter reportedly see Milenkovic as a potential transfer target.
