Few changes planned by Flick

Barcelona are seeking to return to the top of the La Liga standings when they face Sevilla on Sunday afternoon at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan. The Catalans were deposed by Real Madrid after their victory over Villarreal, but a win themselves would see them lead from the front going into the international break.

In the last few days, it was confirmed that Barcelona will be without Lamine Yamal for the trip to Seville, as he has suffered a relapse of the pubis injury he has been struggling with in recent weeks. According to Sport, his replacement will be Robert Lewandowski, in a move that would see Ferran Torres play on the wing.

Despite admitting that fatigue was a factor in their midweek defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, few changes are being prepared by Hansi Flick. As well as Lewandowski, there will be only be one more change: Ronald Araujo for Pau Cubarsi.

As for Sevilla, they come into this one on the back of a fantastic 1-0 win at Rayo Vallecano last weekend, so understandably, there will not be many changes made by head coach Matias Almeyda. Sport believe that only one will happen, with Kike Salas returning to the side in place of Fabio Cardoso.

Barcelona will be tested in Seville

Barcelona have made a strong start to the season, but they will be affected by that first defeat against PSG. There will be a desire to bounce back against Seville, but given their physical problems, it will not be easy.

Sevilla have struggled at home during the opening weeks of the campaign, but they will still provide a stern test for the Catalans. Regardless, it promises to be a very intriguing affair at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, as both teams seek a victory to go into the international break.
