Serie A giants Roma are now running a major risk of losing Mile Svilar and there is increasing interest from not just England but also from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the goalkeeper earlier today and Gianluca di Marzio has provided an update about the situation.
It is reported that the agreement between Roma and Svilar is far away. Last week, Roma made their first offer to the player’s entourage and put forward €1.6 million plus bonuses, with the player currently earning €1 million per season.
The player believes that the offer from Roma is quite far from his demands and he has made no counter-offer whatsoever, with the report indicating that he is not happy. As a result, parties are far from an agreement, even if Svilar is happy in Rome.
Jose Mourinho wants to bring the Serbian to Fenerbahce, having coached him at Roma. The Turkish club have considered an exchange involving Svilar and Dominik Livakovic but for now, it is only an idea as Mourinho continues to monitor the situation.
