This summer will see another round of FC Barcelona camps take place in locations all across the United States. They offer boys and girls between the ages of six and 17 the opportunity to play football and learn all about the “Barca way” when it comes to approaching the beautiful game and developing skills.
Barcelona have been running camps in the US for 20+ years making them older than the Barca academy USA which offers year-round training programs in a few cities.
They are more open than those programs with players of different skill levels welcome at the camps, and much less structured towards developing the stars of tomorrow when compared to the Barca residency academy in Casa Grande, Arizona.
However, some of the top players from each camp are still selected to travel to Barcelona and train at the club’s facilities, an incredible opportunity for any budding young footballer.

What’s included in a typical FC Barcelona camp?
The idea behind the Barcelona soccer camps is similar to that of the Barca academy in terms of the methodology and kinds of activities that feature in five days of training by officially-licensed UEFA coaches from the club. The distinctive possession-based style of play that they are known for is prominent, as is the focus on teamwork and respect.
They typically run from 08:00 to 14:00 each day, with friendly matches arranged, while diplomas, prizes and awards are handed out on the final day. Accommodation is not included, so these camps are designed for children who live locally.
Participants are divided into groups according to their age and skill levels on day one.

Barca academy fees – Summer camps in the US
The five-day Barcelona soccer camps cost $599 in 2025 in each location and with that children typically spend 30 hours on site in total. There are sometimes slight discounts, but it’s basically a fixed rate across the country with an almost identical program in each location.
Parents are allowed to watch training sessions from a separate area if they wish.
Barcelona residential clinic
Barcelona also run a residential camp for 10-16 year olds which takes place in Catalunya each summer at the club’s actual training ground. This includes training sessions from Monday to Friday, as well as a range of activities and excursions including a visit to Camp Nou.
The 2025 residential camp lasted for 10 days and cost $3195. The 2026 program is likely to be announced in due course.
