Inter Milan, one of the eight teams to have won the Champions League-back-to-back, have been given a 48% chance of being one of the remaining four teams in the competition and a 27.7% chance of reaching the final in the German capital.
The Nerazzurri (14.5%) have been calculated to have a 14.5% chance of winning and only two teams have better odds: Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool. After storming through the league phase, the latter are heavy favourites – 24.6%.

Despite being the reigning champions, Real Madrid’s tough play-off fixture – and ponderous run of form – meant that Opta have insisted they have just a 4.4% chance of retaining their status as champions of Europe. Manchester City (3.2%) and Bayern Munich (2.1%) have even less of a chance.
In terms of outright winners of this season’s iteration of Europe’s premier club competition, Slot’s men are the clear favourites – and, according to Opta’s calculations, have a 24.6% chance of adding another Champions League to their silverware cabinet.
Arsenal are just behind on 16.6%, while Inter Milan – runners-up in 2022/23 – are third favourites (14.5%). At the other end of the spectrum, Borussia Dortmund, Feyenoord and Celtic have a 0.1% chance. Calculations suggest that Stade Brest have a 0% chance.
