FC Augsburg have confirmed two new signings ahead of the Bundesliga restart, with Kelvin Yeboah and Irvin Cardona joining from Genoa and Stade Brest, respectively.
Yeboah, a 22-year-old attacker, makes the switch to WWK Arena on loan with an option to buy.

“After the talks with the coach and the people in charge, it was clear to me that I only wanted to switch to FCA,” Yeboah said.

“The courageous and active style of play that the coach wants to play suits me very well. That’s why I’m happy that the switch has worked out.”

25-year-old forward Cardona joins Augsburg permanently on a contract until 2027.

“FC Augsburg offers me a super perspective to prove myself in Germany and the Bundesliga. I am looking forward to this challenge because I am convinced of FCA’s potential. The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world and I’m looking forward to playing for FCA,” Cardona said.

Augsburg have brought in five players since the transfer window opened, having already signed Dion Beljo, David Colina and Arne Engels in January.

Raphael Framberger (Sandhausen, loan) and Florian Niederlechner (Hertha BSC) have left.
