La Liga giants Real Madrid could be forced to make do without the contributions of a member of the club’s summer recruitment drive over the weeks ahead.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Franco Mastantuono as the player in question.
Youngster Mastantuono is for his part fresh off plying his trade with the Argentine senior team during the international break.
The Albiceleste’s plans for their midfield prodigy, however, do not end there…
As confirmed by El Chiringuito TV, Mastantuono is wanted by his home country to play at the upcoming U20 World Cup.
Any such call-up for their summer addition would come as a serious source of concern for Real Madrid.
The U20 World Cup is due to be kicked into gear later this month, with Argentina having been drawn in a group alongside Italy, Australia, and Cuba.
In the case of the South Americans advancing all the way to the competition’s finale on October 19th, Mastantuono could in turn miss as many as seven of Real Madrid’s fixtures.
