Bayern Munich are in talks with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting about a new deal that could see him more than double his wages.
According to Sky Germany, Bayern have made extending the 33-year-old’s expiring contract a top priority, with talks about a one-year deal worth €10 million per year said to be underway.
Having emerged as Bayern’s first-choice option up front, Choupo-Moting could remain the club’s No. 1 striker next season.
Bild has previously reported that the veteran forward currently earns around €5 million annually.
He has scored 12 goals in 18 games for Bayern this season.
