Chelsea are reportedly open to selling Enzo Fernandez this summer as Real Madrid hover for the Argentina international.
The Blues spent huge money to sign Fernandez from Benfica a couple of years ago, and overall most fans would probably say he’s been a bit of a disappointment.
Although clearly a very talented player on his day, Fernandez has been a bit too inconsistent for Chelsea, with the team as a whole also not really progressing as many would’ve hoped.
“That’s Arsenal for you!” – Which ex-Gunner believes his old club have one MAJOR problem?
This could perhaps mean the west London giants make some changes this summer, and Fichajes report that Fernandez is one big name who could be available for the right price.
The Spanish outlet add that Real Madrid are currently showing an interest in the 24-year-old.
Enzo Fernandez transfer: Chelsea could make risky decision amid Real Madrid interest

Even if Chelsea aren’t entirely satisfied with how Fernandez has performed in his time in England, it could be a big risk to let him go.
Real Madrid clearly still rate the former Benfica man, which perhaps tells you all need to know about his reputation in world football.
Chelsea surely need to be prepared to give Fernandez a bit more time, as he’s still young and also surrounded by a number of players who aren’t really good enough.
If CFC can bring in a new top class striker and some better wingers than flops like Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto and Joao Felix, then they could finally start to see the best of Fernandez.
On the other hand, some fans might be concerned that if Chelsea wait too long, they might miss out on the chance to bag big money from selling Fernandez.
It’s easy to imagine that the player’s reputation and value could diminish further, so perhaps they’d be right to gamble on selling him now.
