According to Relevo, Chelsea are hoping to sell France international defender Axel Disasi (26) in the winter transfer window. The Premier League club are looking to secure satisfactory offers to allow them to recoup some of the money spent on the centre-back.
Arriving at Stamford Bridge from Monaco in the summer of 2023, the centre-back cost the West London club a fee of €45m. Disasi was a regular starter in his first season representing the Blues under Mauricio Pochettino. However, under Enzo Maresca, the former Monaco defender has found it a much more difficult task to earn regular minutes this season.
The 26-year-old has only made 3 appearances in the Premier League this season. A lack of playing time and opportunities has led to the defender being made available for transfer in the winter window. Newcastle United have previously shown an interest in the Frenchman.
