Burnley may face competition from Real Betis and Wolfsburg for Han-Noah Massengo’s signature

As previously reported, newly-promoted Burnley are interested in Han-Noah Massengo (21), who is a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Championship side Bristol City, however, according to RMC Sportthey make face competition from Real Betis and Wolfsburg.

Interest in Massengo is hotting up. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, as well as the aforementioned interested teams, Massnego’s formative club, AS Monaco, are interested in repatriating the French midfielder, whilst Bundesliga side Freiburg are also interested.

RMC Sport have now added that Wolfsburg and Real Betis are interested. Massengo is coming off the back of a successful loan spell with AJ Auxerre. However, given the club’s relegation to Ligue 2, he won’t return to the French club. Massengo played 15 matches for the club during a six-month loan during the second part of last season, and moving forward will prioritise the sporting project that offers him the most game time.
