Die Werderaner appear to be prioritising a revamp in defence ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
With a deal for Leeds United’s Maxi Wöber seemingly over the line, Werder Bremen have their eye on another defender.
According to a report from DeichStube, Albian Hajdari is yet another target to potentially bolster the Bremen defense.
Popular German tabloid Sports BILD also reports that the 22-year-old is available for a slashed price this summer.
Although the centre-half’s rumoured value is €12million, an exit clause could allow him to leave current employers FC Lugano for €5million.
The Swiss-born player with Kosovan roots has made over 40 appearances for Lugano and made his international debut last March.
However, Bournemouth and West Ham United, the club of former Werder striker Niclas Füllkrug, are also said to be interested.
