Borussia Dortmund vs. Ulsan HD

Official team news has just been released for Die Schwarzgelben who Ulsan HD in the FIFA Club World Cup group stage.

With just under an hour to go until kick-off, Borussia Dortmund head coach Niko Kovač has announced his starting eleven to take on their third and final Group F opponents Ulsan HD from the K-League.

There is a lot on the line from a Dortmund perspective knowing a win will guarantee them qualification to the Round of 16. Anything less, and Mamelodi Sundowns will be hoping to pounce as they take on Fluminense while trailing the Bundesliga club by a solitary point.

Tonight, BVB start with the ever-reliable Gregor Kobel between the sticks as captain. Head coach Kovač opts for a regular three-man backline with Julian Ryerson selected alongside Waldemar Anton and Rami Bensebaini who continue their partnership.

Moving into the middle third, Yan Couto and Daniel Svensson take to the flanks either side of a central midfield duo comprised of Felix Nmecha and elder statesman Pascal Groß.

Finally, Jobe Bellingham and the fleet-footed Karim Adeyemi tuck in behind Serhou Guirassy who will look to score in consecutive games as he leads the line for Die Schwarzgelben.

Korean champions Ulsan can no longer reach the knockout stage, therefore pride is all that’s left to play for. They line up in a 5-3-2 formation with Younggwon Kim as skipper and their domestic top scorer Erick Farias leading the line.
