Boëtius allowed to train after cancer diagnosis

Hertha Berlin announced that Jean-Paul Boëtius has returned to training following a testicular cancer diagnosis just three weeks ago.

Jean-Paul Boëtius was incredibly seen back on the training ground for the capital club on Thursday. It’s been a difficult few weeks for the 28-year-old, who was diagnosed with a testicular tumor in late September.

Luckily, Boëtius did not require chemotherapy similar to teammate Marco Richter. The Dutchman was originally ruled out until 2023, as it’s still unclear when he’ll make his exact return to the pitch.
