Bochum defender set for Southampton switch

VfL Bochum’s Armel Bella-Kotchap is apparently heading to Southampton.

Armel Bella-Kotchap is set to leave VfL Bochum for a move to Southampton, according to Sky Germany.

The German media outlet claims that the 20-year-old centre-back will sign a four-year deal with the Premier League club.

According to The Athletic, Southampton are paying around €10 million for Bella-Kotchap.

Bella-Kotchap featured 26 times for Bochum’s senior side through the 2021/22 campaign and has two years left on his current deal.

On the arrival side, Bochum are reportedly poised to seal the signing of 23-year-old right-back Jordi Osei-Tutu from Arsenal.
