In the summer of 2024, Bayern Munich activated a €53 million release clause to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace – but apparently they had to pay more to bring the Frenchman to the Allianz Arena.
According to Sport Bild, Olise received a signing-on fee of around €10 million when he moved from the London club.
The report also suggests that the transfer fee of €53 million could rise by a further €6 million to €59 million through bonus payments.
Nevertheless, Bayern are likely very happy with the signing of Olise, who has become a star player at the club.
In 68 appearances in all competitions, he has scored 26 goals and provided 30 assists.
