In the summer of 2024, Bayern Munich activated a €53 million release clause to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace but apparently they had to pay more to bring the Frenchman to the Allianz Arena.

According to Sport Bild, Olise received a signing-on fee of around €10 million when he moved from the London club.

The report also suggests that the transfer fee of €53 million could rise by a further €6 million to €59 million through bonus payments.

Nevertheless, Bayern are likely very happy with the signing of Olise, who has become a star player at the club.

In 68 appearances in all competitions, he has scored 26 goals and provided 30 assists.
