Having first been linked with Raphael Guerreiro at the end of May, Bayern Munich appear to remain keen on the left-back, who is out of contract after leaving Borussia Dortmund.
According to Sky Germany, talks are ongoing between the club and Guerreiro’s management, with the German champions hoping to bring the Portugal international to the Allianz Arena.
The report claims that Bayern Munich supervisory board members Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have given their approval for the transfer, with head coach Thomas Tuchel a big fan of the player.
A left-back by trade, Guerreiro also played as a central midfielder for Dortmund in the 2022/23 season.
Guerreiro spent seven years with Dortmund, making 224 appearances, scoring 40 goals and providing 50 assists.
