Barcelona starlet Juan Hernández has made his way onto the transfer radar of French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have confirmed that Luis Enrique and co. are keeping a close eye on the development of the 18-year-old.
Juan, for his part, is a versatile midfielder, capable of lining out in an orthodox central role or along the wing.
The Spaniard is currently plying his trade with Barca Atlètic, with whom his performances have long begun to turn heads in Catalunya’s capital.
And as alluded to above, such intrigue is now understood to have made its way beyond the confines of Spain, too.
As per a report from MD, Champions League holders PSG are keen to bring Juan to France, with a view to developing him into a future first-team player.
The youngster’s Barcelona contract contains a €6 million release clause, which could be activated in January.
PSG could alternatively attempt to convince Juan not to sign a new contract in Catalunya, ahead of the expiration of his current terms in the summer of 2026.
