Two members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona could find themselves back on the books of Catalan rivals Girona before the summer is out.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who highlight Oriol Romeu and Pau Víctor as the pair in question.
Both midfielder Romeu and attacker Víctor are expected to be on the move before the summer is out.
The former is fresh off a loan stint with the aforementioned Girona, but does not feature in the plans of Barcelona boss Hansi Flick for next season.
Frontman Víctor, meanwhile, is aware that game time will likely be at a premium at the Camp Nou in 2025/26, with a transfer over the coming weeks therefore looking increasingly likely for the 23-year-old, too.
Both Romeu and Víctor made the move to Barca from neighbours Girona.
And if the latest word stemming from the media on Wednesday is anything to go by, then it is not out of the question that both could end up back at the Estadi Montilivi this summer.
As per a report from MD:
‘Girona have not ruled out the return of Oriol Romeu or Pau Víctor, although they are difficult options.’
