Barcelona still owe Manchester City €52m for Ferran Torres, as reported by Cataluyna Radio.
Barça have made their financial report for last season available to its club members via the club’s website, dated 30 June 2022. The board will explain the latest figures to its members at a meeting which will be held on the day Barça play Celta Vigo on Sunday 9 October.
There are almost 100 pages of financial information with significant detail on the current state of the club’s finances.
The report reveals that Barça still owe some €52m to Manchester City, in a transfer that was fixed at a total of €55m plus variables. There is also a pending payment of €2m to Valencia, the club Torres played for before joining City.
This, therefore, means that last January, Barça only paid €3 to the Manchester club for the services of the Spain international.
The €52m still pending will be paid over the coming seasons.
