AZ Alkmaar’s Jayden Addai set to visit Como today for a potential transfer

AZ Alkmaar forward Jayden Addai is expected at the Como headquarters today before the final green light for his transfer.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Serie A side Como have decided to replace transfer target Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn with AZ’s Addai. Cesc Fabregas’ club is expected to go for one last attempt this morning for the German international before moving on to signing the Dutchman.

The Lombards are predicted to receive opposition if they want to follow the Kuhn route, and Addai seems like a more plausible option at this point.

Addai will be landing in Italy today, and a visit to Como is scheduled. Club representatives are set to agree on terms with Addai once they get confirmation from Kuhn.

Addai featured in 23 games last season for AZ Alkmaar across all competitions, scoring once. The 19-year-old is an emerging sensation from Dutch football and Como will aim to develop him into a crucial winger next campaign.
