Real Madrid decided this week to enter the race to sign Iker Bravo, as reported by Marca. The Bayer Leverkusen striker, who has scored 11 goals for Spain’s U17s, is highly-rated in Spain.
Atlético Madrid have been the club most interested in signing him and Catalan looked to be close to a move to the Wanda Metropolitano, but the landscape has changed with Madrid’s interest.
The German club’s financial demands are high and it will not be a straightforward operation for the interested La Liga sides.
The young forward is training with the Bayer Leverkusen first team, but the presence of strikers such as Schick, Azmoun and Hlozek means he will unlikely receive much game time and will play with the U19s as he continues to develop.
The Spanish youth international left Barcelona in the summer of 2021. His first season with the German club can be considered a success, as in addition to training with the first team, he made his debut in the Bundesliga.
