A member of the summer recruitment list at La Liga champions Barcelona will not be eligible to feature in the club’s upcoming meeting with Rayo Vallecano.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Roony Bardghji as the player in question.
Youngster Bardghji is for his part yet to take to the pitch in the colours of new club Barcelona in a competitive setting since his summer arrival from FC Copenhagen.
This comes with the ongoing financial constraints at the Camp Nou having not allowed for the Swede to be registered for La Liga play.
Bardghji, in turn, was forced to watch on from home, as Hansi Flick’s troops got the better of both Mallorca and Levante.
And as alluded to above, this looks set to prove the case once more on Sunday evening.
As per a report from MD:
‘Roony Bardghji will not be included in the Barça squad for tonight’s match against Rayo at Vallecas.’
The winger joins the likes of Marc Bernal and Gavi in being set to miss out in Madrid later today.
