Leverkusen’s 24-year-old marksman could get his move to Saudi Arabia after all.
With rumours emerging that Al-Nassr could be set to lose Jhon Durán, it appears their interest has been reignited in Victor Boniface.
Bayer Leverkusen’s striker looked set to join the Saudi Arabian club last January for a fee of €65million before the deal fell through.
Durán eventually signed for Al-Nassr from Aston Villa, but it appears the 21-year-old wants to leave the Gulf state after just 6 months.
Should Durán make the move to his proposed next destination Fenerbahçe, Al-Nassr will likely try again with Die Werkself’s Boniface.
The Nigerian somewhat fell out of favour with Xabi Alonso last season but still managed 8 Bundesliga goals in 19 games.
However, it must be mentioned that Fenerbahçe have not reached an agreement with Durán’s party just yet with negotiations ongoing.
