According to L’Équipe, Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli are now interested in securing the signing of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat (26) – who has been a target of Manchester United this summer.
Having already secured the signings of Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez, Édouard Mendy, and Allan Saint-Maximin (whose arrival was officially confirmed just this past Sunday), Al-Ahli are keen on further fortifying their squad with renowned players. One player firmly on their radar is 26-year-old Amrabat, who captured the world’s attention as one of the standout performers in the 2022 World Cup for Morocco. He helped the Atlas Lions to become the first African nation to reach finals of the competition.
Since the World Cup, the midfielder has been linked to some of Europe’s top clubs, including PSG, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United. It is the Premier League side that have had the most concrete interest, according to the English press.
