Summary
- AI has predicted the next five Undisputed WWE champions.
- Jey Uso expected to win the title in 2026 in an emotional full-circle moment.
- Two of the predictions have never held a world title previously.
The biggest prize in WWE is undoubtedly the Undisputed strap. Currently held by John Cena at the time of writing, the top belt has a lineage that goes back several decades and while it has had its peaks and troughs, it has largely remained the top championship in all of professional wrestling and sports entertainment.
As a result, only the absolute very best in WWE ever get to lay their hands on the title, with some iconic names not even managing to do so. And as for what the future holds for the championship, AI has decided to try and figure it out itself by predicting the next five Undisputed WWE Champions.

Solo Sikoa
Late 2025
AI’s reasons why: “WWE is building Solo Sikoa as the new enforcer and possible heir to Roman Reigns’ legacy. With The Bloodline now “civil war”-like, it makes sense for Solo to claim dominance. He could turn on Cody or win via tribal politics.”
The current head of the new Bloodline recently claimed his first singles championship on the main roster by defeating Jacob Fatu with the help of Tanga Loa, JC Mateo and the recently debuting Tala Tonga – the former Hikuleo in New Japan Pro Wrestling. While there are some plot holes in the AI’s thought process – namely the idea of Solo turning on Cody Rhodes when he’s already a heel and has had an intense rivalry with the American Nightmare – it still believes he is in line for a push towards the top of the card. And taking the crown off Cena would be a major feat indeed.
Described as a dominant, yet transitional champion, it seems as though the thinking is that it will lead to yet another battle for Tribal Chief supremacy down the line, but not with Roman Reigns.

Jey Uso
Early/Mid 2026
AI’s reasons why: “The emotional payoff of Jey finally winning the big one — especially by defeating Solo — would be a huge feel-good story and a full-circle moment from the Reigns saga.”
Jey Uso did have his WrestleMania moment this spring when he dethroned Gunther to win his first singles world championship. However, the World Heavyweight Title is still seen as the little brother to its Undisputed counterpart, so going one step further would be an even greater achievement for Uso.
His brother Jimmy is embroiled in the Sikoa–Fatu rivalry, which could potentially be the entry point for Jey to come in and lay down the gauntlet. Having failed to secure the top title multiple times against Roman Reigns, the time may finally be right for Uso to unequivocally ‘yeet’ himself to the head of the table.

Gunther
Late 2026
AI’s reason’s why: “Gunther is primed to be a dominant world champion. He brings prestige, physicality, and credibility — similar to what Roman did early on.”
The WWE Universe has seen what Gunther can do as champion plenty since he arrived in NXT UK. The commanding Austrian is in the midst of his second World Heavyweight Championship reign, having won the ‘big gold’ back from Jey Uso in unexpected fashion. The two men have had a storied history when it comes to contesting for honours, whether it be the WHC or the Intercontinental Title in the past.
Most of the time, it has been Gunther who has been superior, and the AI believes that the former leader of Imperium will be so again when the time comes for Uso to drop the title. A dominant reign that will last between 6–9 months will occur, before it then comes time for Gunther to step aside for who will at that point be the newest household name in the main event scene.

Bron Breakker
Mid/Late 2027
AI’s reasons why: “WWE clearly sees Breakker as a future face of the company. A feud with Gunther, where he finally topples the ring general, would pass the torch to the next generation.”
It’s hard to argue with the AI’s logic here. There’s no doubt that Bron Breakker is being earmarked as a potential WrestleMania main eventer, and it is only a matter of time before Triple H decides to pull the trigger on the former Intercontinental and NXT Champion and let the dog off the leash.
A rivalry with Gunther is something that has not been seen since very briefly during the NXT 2.0 days, and with the two men in their dominant prime, it could be one of the most tantalising unstoppable force versus immovable object matchups in the company’s history. And imagine the reaction from the Steiner family should one of their own claim the big one. The dogs will certainly be barking come 2027.

Seth Rollins
Early 2028
AI’s reasons why: “If Rollins hasn’t yet reclaimed the top belt by this point, a redemption arc (post-injury or post-babyface heel turn) would make sense. He could beat Breakker in a veterans vs. rising star clash.”
Come 2028, Seth Rollins will be approaching nearly two decades as a WWE superstar. Incredible to think. And he may just return to the top of the mountain if AI is correct. The current Mr Money in the Bank appears to not be set on cashing his contract in on the Undisputed title based on this timeline, but could come back to haunt a member of his own faction.
Perhaps in this universe, Breakker has emerged as a breakout babyface or turned on his leader in heelish fashion, setting up a student vs master matchup which sees Rollins either defy the odds or worm his way out victorious – depending on whether he is playing the good or bad guy.
At that stage of his career, whether fans will be overly enthused about Rollins beating Breakker for the gold is up for debate, but his longevity with the company means he deserves at least one more reign with the main belt.
