A highly-regarded up-and-coming youngster was spotted alongside Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid first-team stars in training on Friday.
Los Blancos, of course, will mark their return to domestic action this weekend.
Fresh off booking their spot in yet another Champions League finale in midweek, a trip to Los Cármenes to face Granada lies in store.
With the La Liga title already wrapped up, Carlo Ancelotti is expected to heavily rotate his XI for the clash, affording some of the more high-profile members of Real’s squad some much-needed rest.
And in their place will come some of the more seldom-seen of the capital giants’ stars.
In the buildup to Saturday’s clash, the coaching staff at Valdebebas therefore felt it the right time to introduce some of the more highly-regarded members of the club’s youth setup to senior training.
And one such starlet afforded a chance to impress on Friday was Nico Paz.
Midfielder Paz, for his part, was a regular in the first-team setup in Spain’s capital earlier in the season, though his last of seven appearances came all the way back in December.
Nevertheless, he was back in the thick of things on Friday, with it deemed as likely that the 19-year-old will take to the pitch under Ancelotti’s watch at least once more before the campaign is out.
