Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini has brushed aside speculation that midfielder Guido Rodriguez has agreed a deal with Barcelona. The 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and does not appear to be signing a new deal.
Pellegrini told Diario AS that Nabil Fekir and Isco were perfectly capable of playing together, while also addressing Marc Roca’s recent spell on the bench, saying he always does his best to get him in the XI.

Meanwhile Marc Bartra will not return from his injury before the end of the season, and said that Betis would wait until the end of the season to find clarity on Claudio Bravo’s future, with the veteran goalkeeper also out of contract. His compatriot Pellegrini said the following on Rodriguez.
“There are so many speculations that come and go… We’ll see, we are focused on the end of the championship. We’ll see later what names we’re going to have. Both Guido and the others are focused on Sunday’s game.”
The World Cup-winner has long been linked to Barcelona, after being identified as a target two seasons ago. Betis look as if they are in for another summer of uncertainty, with many of their players available for the right price. While the pair are currently partnering each other in midfield, Betis do have their replacement for Rodriguez in Johnny Cardoso.
