Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has today provided his take on how the club’s upcoming meeting with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain will play out.
Xavi’s troops, of course, are currently in the midst of preparations for what many would argue represents their biggest outing of the season to date.
After marking their return to action on the back of the international break with a La Liga downing of Las Palmas, Barca will now turn attentions back towards matters on the continent.
A first leg Champions League quarter-final showdown with the aforementioned PSG lies in wait, at the Parc des Princes next Wednesday night.
Expected to play a central role throughout the tie, it therefore came as little surprise when Blaugrana sensation Lamine was asked for his predicted scoreline in Paris.
And supporters of the club will no doubt be delighted to learn of his response.
Speaking in an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Lamine first went on point towards a 1-0 Barcelona victory.
Asked who he envisions scoring the only goal of the clash, the 16-year-old then showed supreme confidence, in simply adding:
“Myself”.
