Thomas Tuchel will receive a significant compensation fee when his contract with Bayern Munich is terminated at the end of the season.
According to Sport Bild, the 50-year-old German coach will receive €10 million, the equivalent of one year’s salary without bonuses.
Bayern announced in February that they had agreed with Tuchel to part ways with him at the end of the season.
Tuchel took over as Bayern coach at the end of March 2023, replacing Julian Nagelsmann.
Nagelsmann is now said to be one of the main candidates for the job, with Roberto De Z>erbi and Ralf Rangnick also on the shortlist.
