Serie A giants Milan have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the permanent transfer of Alex Jimenez.
According to a report by Sky Sports via TMW, Milan have decided to activate the redemption option from Alex Jimenez’s loan deal from Real Madrid. The clause was set at €5 million and the Italian outfits have agreed on terms with the Spanish giants for the permanent transfer of the player.
The Rossoneri will now focus on contract negotiations with the 18-year-old’s agent. The meetings are expected to be scheduled after Easter and the international break as they are confident to agree on salary details.
Alex Jimenez is a product of Real Madrid Castilla and has been on loan since the start of the season, playing 17 matches for the Milan U-19 side. He has also appeared five times with the first team across all competitions.
The official announcement from the club will arrive once the Spaniard has signed all the documents.
