Vitor Roque’s agents speak out on lack of Barcelona playing time

The entourage of Barcelona striker Vitor Roque has this afternoon commented on the lack of playing time being afforded to their client at present.

The name of youngster Roque has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital once more over the course of the last 24 hours.

As much comes after the Brazilian endured another frustrating evening’s work with Barcelona.

En route to an eventual goalless stalemate with Athletic Club, Roque was forced to watch on from the bench for the entirety of the 90 minutes.

This came despite the Blaugrana having been in desperate need of a source of inspiration, amid a toothless attacking display.

Roque, all told, has now featured for just 164 of an available 720 minutes since his arrival in La Liga during the January transfer window.

In turn, as alluded to above, the 18-year-old’s representatives were today contacted, in an effort to gain an understanding of the reasoning behind his lack of early opportunities in Catalunya.

As revealed by CuleMania, however, Roque’s entourage were unable to provide the insight sought, instead urging the outlet to direct their questions towards Barcelona’s head coach:

“You have to ask Xavi,” they concluded.
