Toni Kroos is returning to the German national team ahead of the European Championship.

Real Madrid veteran Toni Kroos is coming out of international retirement.
The 34-year-old has taken to Instagram to announce his return to the German national team ahead of this summer’s European Championship on home soil.
“Guys, short and sweet: I’ll be playing for Germany again starting in March,” Kroos stated.
“Why? Because I was asked by the national team coach, I’m ready for it, and I’m sure that the team is capable of much more at the European Championship than most people currently believe.”
Kroos last played for Germany at Euro 2020, after which he announced his international retirement.
