According to Fabrizio Romano, several European clubs are interested in signing Lille attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici (27) on a free transfer in the summer window. The Turkish international’s contract at the Stade Pierre Mauroy is set to expire in June 2024.
Yazici has made somewhat of a redemption at Lille this season. The 27-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements by Les Dogues last season as he spent the year on loan at Trabzonspor in his homeland of Turkey. Lille initially signed Yazici from Trabszonspor in 2019. The attacking midfielder has been ever-present for Paulo Fonseca this season, making 30 appearances across all competitions and scoring 10 goals. This impressive form has attracted the interest of several clubs around Europe.
Yazici signs with a new agent
Ahead of the summer transfer window, Yazici has signed up with a new agent before negotiating a pre-contract deal with interested clubs. According to Romano, the former Trabzonspor loanee has signed as a client of Pin Zahavi’s agency.
