Serie A giants Milan are likely to attempt a January move for Lille striker Jonathan David.
The striker position is one of concern for the Rossoneri, with Luka Jovic misfiring on his short-term deal and the side are currently lacking goals.
Luca Bianchin has reported that Stefano Pioli is losing patience in Jovic and doesn’t consider the Serbian to be part of his plans anymore. With January approaching, a new striker signing will be desperately needed for the club to bolster their attack.
For Milan, David ticks all the boxes. And as previously reported, his price tag has also gone down and he could cost less than €40 million. It is stated by Bianchin that he’s untransferrable for Lille in January and if the right price is offered, the Canada international could be sold this winter.
His contract expires in the summer of 2025 and with no extension in sight, Lille want to make sure they don’t lose the striker on a free transfer.
Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy is also of interest to Milan, but the striker is more likely to depart in June than in January, even though his release clause does attract the Diavolo.
